Hello World!
It's sort of funny to start this journal like that, especially since all these posts start as written journal entries. As much as I enjoy technology, for me, I can't (nor do I want to) get over the way that good ol' pencil (or pen) and paper feel.

It’s sort of funny to start this journal like that, especially since all these posts start as written journal entries. As much as I enjoy technology, for me, I can’t (nor do I want to) get over the way that good ol’ pencil (or pen) and paper feel. Maybe digitizing these sheets of paper will be part of the work flow so that you guys can see my handwriting, or something.
This journal is supposed to act like a modern day commonplace book (or at least a more literarily accessible section of this site-as-a-commonplace book), so you’ll see/hear my thoughts, especially over new interests or about major things that happened to me over the day.
I’ll try to keep things mostly anonymous but I can’t say they’ll be equally kept sanitized. To be frank, there is a lot that I am going through right now. That’s not to say that I am completely a gloomy gus, but I have moved on from expressions of Chrsitianity taht say to be a “good Chrsitian” you can’t express grief or longing or sadness, a Christianity that tries to divorce itself from negative emotions or the darkness of life. I still have Jesus, and I’m still faithful to Him, but I am completely broken by His people.
And you can see that I have already started! Anyway, this is already a full page of handwritten text and I’d like to keep some stuff for myself, at least until the next update. Hope to see you soon.
